When I hear people use the phrase “Think outside the box”, I chuckle. I understand the intent. In media, inside the box is all we have to work with. Everything outside Is cropped or trimmed. I live inside the box. I think it’s my job to pull the reader/consumer into my world. The challenge is to reinvent the box, keep it fresh and new. The box has been a great place to live/work for the last 30+ years.
